PRISM DJs x Rescue Skin Presents: Beyond the Turntables with DJ Bella Fiasco

Women's History Month might be coming to an end, but our commitment to celebrate and honor inspiring, talented women continues every day.

In the fourth and final installment of our special "Beyond the Turntables" campaign, we are proud to feature DJ Bella Fiasco.

With a talent for spinning captivating tracks and a killer sense of style, DJ Bella Fiasco is a force. From the age of 17, when surprised with turntables, a gift from her father, she spent countless nights researching, learning, and developing as a DJ. After years of dedication and perseverance, today, she splits her time between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Here is DJ Bella Fiasco in her own words:

1. When did you start your career as a DJ?
[I] started DJing weddings and private events with my dad right out of high school.

2. What genre of music do you spin?
I'm open format. I play anything and everything that brings me joy and elevates the listener's taste, experience, and knowledge in music.

3. What/who inspired you to become a DJ?
Ultimately my dad. He bought me my first pair of turntables and taught me what he knew.

4. When you're not at the turntables, where can we find you?
In the kitchen, I enjoy cooking on my days off.

5. When did you start caring for your skin?
Since I was in middle school, I naturally picked up on my grandma's skincare routine growing up.

6. Who was your first skinfluencer? (Whoever taught you how to care for your skin: Mom, sister, aunt, friend, actor, etc.)
My grandma. Her skin is absolutely flawless, and she takes great care of it without the need or use of unnatural products or enhancements. Her skincare routine is simple and honest. I hope I look as beautiful as she does when I get to her age.

7. What skin product (besides sunscreen) can you not live without? (Toner, moisturizer, serum)
Witch hazel toner is my skin's number one lifeline.

8. What makeup product is always in your gig bag when DJing an event?
Lipstick, of course.

9. Beauty means many things. What does it mean to you?
Beauty to me means a good attitude and self-confidence. You can't be pretty on the outside if you aren't pretty on the inside :)

10. How do you empower others through your work?
I've always been a big advocate of doing everything with authenticity and integrity— that being your truest version will always be your best weapon. I hope that practicing what I preach gives others the confidence always to be themselves.
