Kai is an 18 year old up-and-coming DJ who began her journey at Camp Spinoff, the only sleep-away DJ camp for teens!
Kai has been DJing for four years, drawing clients for private, community and corporate events. Her unique musical style taps into genres like ‘90s Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Dark Pop, Trap Soul, and Trap. Notable recent events include the Brighter Future Luncheon at Laura’s House, the Spelman College Beats to Beat Breast Cancer event, the American Diabetes Association’s Virtual Tour de Cure, the YMCA Pride Prom, and Khloe Kares Kuts in the Park.
In addition to her impressive DJ endeavors, Kai graduated from the Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprises and is now attending CSU Northridge, working towards a BS in Business Management. She is also learning music production while working part-time at the Beignet Box.
Community involvement is another important aspect of Kai’s life, as she volunteers at least four hours each month for non-profits like Khloe Kares, the Rodney King Foundation, and the YMCA. She’s also proud to support LGBTQ Rights, Women’s Rights, and Anti-Bullying. When she’s not spinning, working, studying, or volunteering, Kai enjoys drawing, makeup, and photography.
