Toneé Macara is an LA-based DJ, Chicago native, and a Scratch DJ Academy graduate with a love of music and belief in melodic storytelling. Toneé’s background in event production inspired her to be the talent rather than booking it. As an open-format DJ, she aims to bring people together with music, living by the motto, “Connecting human-kind via Tunage.”

Toneé’s curations exhibit her Chicago roots and her affinity for all things house, Afrobeats, and dance, yet she also blends influences from hip hop, soul, funk, r&b, reggae, dancehall, rock, pop, nu-wave, punk, baile funk, and Latin jams to leave a unique musical imprint with each set.

Toneé is also a creative recruiter and can be found hiking, searching for new plant babies, or sharpening her surfing skills when she’s not spinning.

Her most recent and notable events include BET’s “Twenties” Seasons 1 and 2 Premier, Clubhouse Global x For Freedoms, and AT&T x Hello Labs Mentorship Premier.
