Prism DJs x Camp Spinoff Scholarship for Female Teen Interested in DJing & Music Production
An estimated 90% of music industry producers/engineers/mixers/DJs are men. Prism DJs mission is to bring more women to the forefront of the DJ industry by booking female DJs for events.
We believe the steps required to start balancing the ratio are exposing females to DJing and music production at an early age by giving them access to education, tools, mentorship, and informing them that this type of music industry work is attainable and a sustainable career.
Prism DJs wants to help change the ratio by sending one female teen from an underserved community to Camp Spinoff, a music and production camp taking place in Ojai, California in June 2019.
If you know a female teen from an underserved community that is interested in DJing and/or music production, or know an organization that supports female teens, would you kindly share the Prism DJs scholarship application below?
The deadline for applications is March 1, 2019. Link to scholarship application:

Any help spreading the word is appreciated! Thank you in advance for your help. You could change the future of a female teen interested in music!
